Welcome

• To provide greater access to shared Educational resources for student assignments, projects and individual exploration.
• To provide up to date hardware and software for our classrooms  to allow students and teachers to access knowledge that is available to them worldwide.
• to increase the quantity and the quality of time students are engaged in active learning both inside and outside of school.
• To provide for teachers the necessary tools whereby they might meet the needs of students who have alternative learning styles.
• To increase to possibilities of multi-disciplinary integration and exploration
• To develop guidelines and standards for teaching technology skills using technology through out the curriculum and assessing student progress.

In our efforts to provide these goals to our school community, East Washington remain active in our pursuit of programs and opportunities to meet these goals.  As part of that effort during the 2006-07 school year, we are participating in 2 program on the state and national levels.  The first is our EdTech Grant and the second is our participation in the Indiana Access One2one project.  Professional Development is one of our core pieces assisting in these projects and the integration of technology into our curricular areas. This area is meant not only to tell our community of what we are doing but to share our programs with other schools around the state and the nation just as they do with us.
