Relax, Refocus, and Retool

July is a great time to enjoy the three “R’s” of summer:  relax, refocus energy, and retool for the coming school year.  Teachers and staff at East Washington School Corporation do just that!  Our staff and teachers enjoy time vacationing, spending time with their families, and learning new instructional strategies (formally or informally through professional learning opportunities) to better equip themselves for student learning.  If you have not already done so, I encourage you to find time to spend with your child(ren) investigating, learning, or discovering new adventures before school begins again on August 5 for students.

Universal Precautions

Thank you to Peggy Scott, RN with the Washington County Health Department for attending our corporation Wellness Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 1. Below is the information shared with those attending the meeting.

Universal precautions are practiced at East Washington School Corporation. Students receive education through health classes at all grade levels within the district annually. Look for more information as a result of the community meeting soon from the district.

Lunch Balances

For the 2014-2015 school year, the charge limit will be $5.00 or the equivalence of 2 meals.  Students will not be allowed to charge past this amount

EWSC Crisis / Bullying Tip Line
To anonymously report a crisis or incident of bullying at East Washington, please call 967-3926 and press 7.  Please leave a detailed message covering the type of bullying that is taking place.  An East Washington administrator will address the report as soon as possible.
