Due to the drop in water pressure and the boil water advisory issued by the Town of Pekin, East Washington School Corporation will be closed tomorrow, January 31, 2022. This will be an e-learning day for all students. Our goal is to secure enough bottled water tomorrow so we can be back in session on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Town of Pekin informed us the boil water advisory could be lifted as soon as Wednesday. Prosser students will continue with their normal schedule.

East Washington School Corporation will move to virtual learning starting tomorrow, January 19, 2022 due to high levels of COVID-19 staff and student absenteeism. We are planning for students to return to in-school instruction on Monday, January 24, 2022. The Prosser bus will run on its normal schedule.

School Board Letter to the Public
On October 1st from 12:00pm-4:00pm, the Indiana Immunization Coalition (IIC) will be onsite at Eastern High School to host an immunization clinic during the school day for students. This is a wonderful opportunity for your student to get caught up on their immunizations if they are behind, and if you want your student to get their immunizations now in preparation for the following school year (PreK, 5th and 11th graders). THIS IS AN OPTIONAL SERVICE. NO CHILD WILL BE GIVEN ANY VACCINATIONS UNLESS THE PARENT COMPLETES THE ONLINE REGISTRATION. If you do not want your student to participate then please do not complete the online registration. Middle and High School students will be called out of class at the appropriate time to receive their vaccines. If you have an Elementary student that you would like vaccinated during this clinic, we ask that you get them out of class and bring them to the High School for the clinic.
