2024 Summer Food Service Program Info
East Washington School Corporation is currently without power. We will be dismissing at regular time. With limited access to email and phones, changes for afternoon bus routes will not be possible.
The power at East Washington Schools has been restored ahead of Duke Energy’s estimated time. Therefore, school will be in session today. If you took your child home due to the power outage, they will not be counted absent.
East Washington School Corporation will release at 1 pm today, April 2, 2024. On My Way Preschool students should be picked up at 12 noon. Regular buses will begin loading at the Elementary at approximately 12:40 pm. There will be no PM Prosser and all after school activities are cancelled. Please stay safe and weather aware.
Important Calendar Adjustment/Change:
Our previously scheduled E-Learning Day for the Solar Eclipse and the Snow Make-Up Day scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024, will be flipped on our current academic calendar.
Friday, April 5, 2024 will now be a Traditional E-Learning Day.
Monday, April 8, 2024 is now a Snow Make-Up Day. Students will not attend school.
We intend to allow students the flexibility to experience this once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse with their families without missing out on crucial learning opportunities.

Indiana schools are required to survey twice a year to identify and provide support to students experiencing homelessness. The survey link is below. Students are considered homeless when they lack fixed, regular, and adequate housing or when they temporarily share housing with others due to economic hardship. These survey results will help our school district provide students experiencing homelessness with additional support and resources.
